Position: CNC Water Jet Operator

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: Canby, OR

Pay: $20-$29 per hour DOE

Who We Are

A local manufacturing company is looking to add an experienced CNC Water Jet Operator to their growing team. This is a dynamic job shop environment where precision, adaptability, and craftsmanship are key.

What You’ll Do

This is not a traditional, repetitive production role. Our client operates as a job shop, so workloads and part requirements can vary daily. You’ll primarily work with thinner gauge metals and focus on precision cutting rather than structural fabrication.

• Set up and operate CNC Water Jet equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain tolerances
• Perform quality checks on finished parts
• Assist with material handling and basic shop duties
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  

Equipment Includes:

• Flow 96" x 240" Five-Axis Dual Head Water Jet
• Flow 6' x 13' Five-Axis Dual Head Water Jet (Tolerance ± .005")
• Flow 6' x 12' Three-Axis Dual Head Water Jet
• Ingersoll-Rand 72" x 192" Water Jet Table
  
  

Capable of cutting materials from 1/16" up to 10" thick with tolerances typically between ± .010"-.015", depending on material and part requirements. What’s in It for You

What You Need to Have The Musts:

• 1-2 years of CNC Water Jet or Laser experience
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience using various hand tools
• Mechanically inclined
• Computer literate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Preferred:

• Reliable transportation
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Electrical assembly experience
