Contracts & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Tacoma/Milton, WA
Pay: $35.00–$42.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Our Client
Our client is a growing infrastructure and project-based organization supporting large-scale construction and telecommunications projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are seeking a highly organized Contracts & Compliance Coordinator to support contract administration, compliance tracking, licensing, and project documentation efforts in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the preparation, routing, execution, and filing of contracts, amendments, and change orders.
- Maintain contract records, databases, and document management systems.
- Track licensing requirements, insurance certificates, contract renewals, and compliance deadlines.
- Support bid and proposal submissions, including RFPs and RFQs.
- Manage subcontractor, vendor, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with public works and government-funded project documentation.
- Coordinate approvals and signatures with internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor minority certification renewals and compliance requirements.
- Prepare reports and provide contract status updates to leadership.

What You Need To Have
- 3 years of experience in contract administration, legal support, construction administration, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow processes.
Preferred
- Experience in construction, telecommunications, engineering, utilities, or infrastructure industries.
- Familiarity with public works projects, government contracts, and prevailing wage requirements.
- Paralegal, legal assistant, or contract administration background.
- Experience supporting proposal development, RFPs, and RFQs.
The Musts
- 3 years of relevant contract administration or compliance experience.
- Strong documentation, organization, and deadline management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work onsite in the Tacoma/Milton area.
- Professional communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
