Construction Laborer Job Description

Position Title: Construction Laborer

Pay Rate: $74.86 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers to support a variety of construction, maintenance, and site preparation activities. The successful candidate will assist skilled trades personnel, operate basic tools and equipment, maintain safe and organized work areas, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, demolition, and site preparation projects.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Clean and prepare job sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Dig trenches, move materials, and perform general labor as required.
• Assist skilled trades workers with various construction tasks.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads.
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, and job site concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA clearance (required).
• Previous construction, labor, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate basic construction tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work on uneven terrain, elevated surfaces, and active construction sites.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
