Mechanical Superintendent

Renfrow Industrial is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to lead industrial and heavy commercial mechanical construction projects. This working field leadership position oversees crews while ensuring safe, productive, and high-quality execution.

Normal Working Hours

• Monday through Thursday

• Typical 4x10 work schedule

• Overtime as required

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct mechanical installations including process piping, utility systems, equipment setting, and commissioning

• Coordinate manpower, material deliveries, and equipment logistics

• Review project drawings and ensure proper installation sequencing and scope compliance

• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow all safety policies

• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights

• Ability to climb, balance, and work on active industrial jobsites

• Operate hand tools safely and maintain focus in changing environments

• Operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes safely (when certified)

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems

• Follow all Renfrow Industrial and OSHA safety requirements

• Lead and supervise Mechanical Leads, Mechanics, and field personnel

• Enforce all Renfrow Industrial and OSHA safety requirements

• Coordinate with Project Managers and clients to maintain schedule and production goals

• Oversee ironworker, millwright, rigger, fabricator, welder, and mechanical trade coordination.

• Review lift plans and ensure structural, mechanical, and alignment tolerances meet project specifications.

• Proven experience leading multi-trade industrial crews required.
