Unarmed Security: Full-Time overnight in Downingtown, PA

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and quiet environment for the residents and staff during the overnight hours. This role involves proactive patrolling using Scan Points and monitoring building access. Tours are conducted every 2 hours and include all floors and the basement.

This position is located in Downingtown, PA and requires a Valid driver's license and a vehicle.

Shifts/Hours: Monday - Thursday from 9pm-7am (40 hours)

PSOs represent the front line of our security services. In this role Physical Security Officers (PSOs) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. The PSO’s mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service.

·      High school Diploma or GED equivalent

·      Two years of face to face customer service experience

·      Two years of security experience

·      Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)

·      Excellent written and oral communication skills

·      Proficient time management skills

·      Reliable transportation

·      Excellent de-escalation skills

·      Proactive problem solving skills

·      Must be able to obtain state required security officer license

·      Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications

·      Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
