Robotics Operation Welder

Job Summary

The Robotics Operation Welder is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding equipment while primarily performing manual MIG welding on industrial and agricultural metal products. This role ensures high-quality welds, maintains production efficiency, and supports fabrication operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily perform manual MIG welding on pipe, structural steel, and fabricated components

• Operate robotic welding systems as needed

• Load and unload materials into robotic welding fixtures

• Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and appearance

• Make minor adjustments to welding parameters when operating robotic systems

• Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment

• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Strong manual MIG welding experience required

• Experience with robotic welding systems preferred

• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment

• Frequent bending, lifting, and material handling

Work Schedule

• Full-time position

• Overtime may be required based on production needs
