COORDINATOR- DAY SUPPORTS AND ACTIVITIES- FT- Position responsible for supervising staff and providing coordination to individuals with disabilities in accessing community-based activities, classes, and outings. Bachelor’s degree in human services or 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and a minimum of one-year supervisory experience preferred. $21.00- $22.00/hr. DOE
Monday- Friday: 8am- 4pm

Duties: (essential functions in bold)
- Evaluates individuals served strengths, support needs, interests and risk level.
- Developes and supervises the inplementation of service plans based on the individuals' needs and interests. Maintains and updates any necessary protocols related to client services.
- Promotes participation by individuals served in accessing community intergration, in-house classes, personal development, and social enrichment.
- Reports and documents in a timely manner any significant event relating to individuals served including; injury, health problems or seizures, medication errors, disruptive/aggressive behaviors, theft, as well as any suspected incidence of abuse, exploitation or neglect.
- Intervenes effectivly in response to challenging behaviors exhibited by individuals served and acts as a resource to direct support professionals in resolving conflict.
- Respond to individuals changing needs in a positive manner.
- Maintains all individual's records and reports required by policies and procedures.
- Communicates individual's needs to staff, parents, guardians, case managers and direct support professionals.
- Attends all mandated annual planning meetings for assogned individuals (Annual PSP's and 6-month reviews).
- Directly supervise assigned Direct Support Professionals.
- Coordinates, orientates, trains, supervises and evaluates staff in their delivery of service to individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure staff complete data entry for monthly billing and care tracker.
- Effectively support and attend to every ORI individual regardless of level of care.
- Consistantly work with all ORI staff members to meet the needs and aspirations of each individual served.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
General:
- Maintain appropriate attendance.
- Adheres to corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintains required certifications.
- Meet annual training requirements
- Attends all mandatory orientation and training activities, scheduled staff meetings and in-service/trainings as requested by supervisor.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with individuals, co-workers, parents, agencies, and the public.
- Maintain professional and appropriate boundries.
- Uses communication skills to participate effectively as a team member.
- Uses equipment and supplies effeciently and informs supervisor of shortages/needs.
- Documents accurately work performed on Paycom and submit in a timely manner to supervisor for approval.
- Documents in Data Management System accurately and in a timely manner.
- Safegards and keeps confidential all Private and Personal information regarding individuals with disabilities received in the course of their employment by the Corporation.
- Pratice safe work habits and follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain strick confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in human services or three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong written and communication skills as well as knowledge of community Resources preferred.
- No record of Abuse, Neglect or exploitation of others.
- Must have or obtain a valid Montana Drivers’s License, have an acceptable driving record, be insurable and present proof of private auto insurance in compliance with Montana State Law within 1 month of hire.
- Complete all required trainings within 30 days of hire.
