RESPONSIBILITIES AND PURPOSE OF THE INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE:
The primary purpose of the Instructional Aide is to assist the Teacher in the implementation of the multi-sensory curriculum; establish effective rapport with students; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary education in accordance with each student's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with teacher collaboratively in classroom.
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
- Will require fingerprinting and background check.
- High school diploma or Equivalent.
COMPENSATION: As a consideration for all services to be rendered, the School shall compensate the Instructional Aide as follows:
a. Hourly wage $22.50 to 23.50(DOE) for up to 32 hours per week from August 3, 2026 until May 31, 2027. Hours are M-Th from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm.
b. HEALTH INSURANCE: Cottonwood Day School shall pay fifty (50) percent of the single insurance cost required to make such health benefits available. Effective Jan 1, 2017, the School shall pay 50% of the single health insurance premiums for full-time employees. Employee is responsible to cover 100% of the costs of spouse and children should they elect that coverage.
