POSITION OVERVIEW
Join our healthcare team as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), where you’ll support providers and deliver quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform patient triage
- Obtain lab specimens, administer injections, and draw blood
- Conduct routine medical tests
- Provide patient education and coordinate referral appointments
- Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks
- Answer calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Perform light housekeeping duties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Certification demonstrating competency across all age groups
- Knowledge of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong communication (oral & written)
- Excellent organization and computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
