What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Support Analyst position at Opportune?
Summary of Position:
Responsible for systems support and setup of clients and customers in Opportune and client-hosted systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support for BOLO, OpenInvoice, EnergyLink, M-Files, and AutoMate as needed
- Monitor help desk requests for system support
- Maintain user and client menus in BOLO in accordance with SOC1 compliance
- Assist departments with uploads and system errors
- Build queries as requested by clients and employees
- Assist with resolving errors in systems
- Contact software vendors and submit case requests for items not resolved by internal analysts
- Review accounting processing issues for resolution
- Interface with clients and customers on special projects
- Assist on new client set ups and data conversions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in MIS/Computer Science, or Accounting
- Must be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to follow schedules and meet deadlines on special projects
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to use computer systems and software to achieve maximum use of resources
- Experience with BOLO, Quorum ODA, OGsys, or related Upstream ERP systems
- Experience with Forta Automate, Microsoft Power AutoMate, M-Files
- Ability to converse with clients in a professional and understanding manner
- Must be able to multi-task in a priority shifting environment
- Understanding of Accounting systems and database architecture
- Exceptional skills in Excel or equivalent software used in data analysis and conversion projects
- Flexibility, multi-tasking, problem-solving, time management, and organization skills required
