Project Manager - BAS & Controls Installation (Airport Projects)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls installation projects. This role manages active construction and retrofit work in a live, high-security airport environment, coordinating installation crews, subcontractors, vendors, and airport stakeholders.

This position is ideal for a PM who understands field execution, airport constraints, and tight coordination—not just schedules and paperwork.

Basic Job Duties

• Manage BAS and controls installation projects from kickoff through commissioning.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and airport operations.
• Plan and execute work in live airport environments (off-hours, night shifts, phased work).
• Track schedules, job costs, materials, and change orders.
• Oversee submittals, installation sequencing, startup, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with airport security, safety, and access requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with airport reps, GCs, and inspectors.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of PM experience in BAS, controls, or electrical/mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of DDC controls installation and HVAC systems.
• Proven experience managing work in airports, secure facilities, or live critical environments.
• Ability to coordinate night work, shutdowns, and tight-access windows.
• Experience with platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, JCI, Honeywell, or Schneider.
• Strong field leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Projects; ERP or project software a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport badging/security clearance.
