What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal/Temporary Labor Workers position at Operations Department?
Seasonal/Temporary Work 05/26/2026 - 6/26/2026 - up to 32 hours per week. Dates and times are flexible.
The main focus of this position will be assest inventory. Position will be overseen by the Executive Director of Business Services.
We are creating excelling schools where there is a laser-like focus on the Essential Elements of Instruction and moving each student to the next academic level.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides temporary support to district operations by performing a variety of general labor and support tasks. Work assignments will vary based on departmental needs and may include both indoor and outdoor responsibilities to help support efficient operations of the Wickenburg Unified School District.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform a variety of general labor and support tasks as assigned
- Assist with handling, moving, and organizing materials, supplies, and equipment
- Support day-to-day operations and projects across assigned work areas
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Use basic tools and equipment as directed
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines
- Work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned tasks
- Adapt to changing assignments and priorities based on operational needs
- Perform work requiring physical effort, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Obtain and maintain and active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience or training in a related setting is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

- Computer Skills – Demonstrated competency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing.

- Math Ability – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to interpret an assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms. Ability to apply reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance.

- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee occasionally will stand and walk.
