Operation Girls Coordinator
Classification: Full-Time Exempt
Reports to: Operation Girls Administrator
Department: Operation Social Services
About Operation Restoration:
Operation Restoration (OR) supports women and girls impacted by incarceration to recognize their full potential, restore their lives, and discover new possibilities. At OR, we focus on advocacy, education, economic mobility, and true economic equity for our staff, clients, and community. Our goal is to end the incarceration of women and girls. Incarceration is defined as confinement in prison, jail, immigrant, juvenile or military detention, or a deportation facility. Operation Restoration defines directly impacted women and girls as individuals who are currently or have previously been incarcerated, arrested, or are on probation and/or parole.
About the Position:
Under the direction of the Operation Girls Administrator, the Operation Girls Coordinator is responsible for advocating, providing mentorship, and empowering girls & young women. The Operation Girls Coordinator is expected to develop and expand program initiatives, cultivate and maintain relationships with referral sources (including local youth detention centers), potential volunteer mentors and donors for girls ages 11-17.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Coordination & Facilitation
Supervise and facilitate weekly Operation Girls programming included by not limited to Tutoring, Girl Talk, and Physical Wellness
Follow needed policy and procedures for program
Support with the long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
Monitor program attendance, behavior, and engagement of participants for incentives and rewards
Obtain waivers for field trips, transportation services, etc.
Assist with marketing for Operation Girls (flyers, brochures, newsletters, etc.)
Build rapport with family members of Operation Girls to address barriers or potential barriers that can impede progress
Support Specialist with onboarding and training of new and existing mentors
Support mentor recruitment processes and events to attract mentors
Conduct yearly curriculum for mentees, aligned with grant requirements and deliverables, following policy and procedures within Operation Girls
Conduct participant assessments including intake assessments, onboarding of new participants, and offboarding of participants
Design and implement monthly initiatives such as planning mental health sessions, drug awareness programming, and physical wellness activities aligned to ongoing grant requirements
Community Engagement and Partnership
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, courts, schools, and youth facilities to advance the work of Operation Girls and Operation Social Services for referral purposes
Identify leadership opportunities and introduce Operation Girls to community leaders who are invested in the advancement of girls as a way to exemplify leadership in the community
Represent Operation Restoration at fundraising and community events
Data Management
Maintain Operation Girls records by entering case notes, logging events and progress to make sure clients’ files match data entered in Salesforce database.
Ensure client and program information and data is properly maintained in electronic and paper files
Program Administration
Coordinate and complete weekly transportation logs for programming and extracurricular activities
Coordinate and record inventory of Operation Girls programming materials
Order and coordinate with volunteer food vendors for weekly Girl Talk meals
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate daily with Operation Restoration staff to ensure organizational effectiveness
Perform related duties as assigned in support of organizational goals
At times, this role requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to support our mission as a community-centered organization. The role also may include occasional travel.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
2-4 years of experience working with children, teens, and families
2-4 years of experience in a non-profit setting that provides social services
Experience collaborating with school personnel, community partners, guardians, and other stakeholders to support youth development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Products, and use of CRMs or data management systems
Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays Operation Restoration and its programs
Comfortable taking initiative while also recognizing when to escalate concerns or seek guidance
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Experience working with formerly incarcerated women preferred
Experience working in education and after school programs
Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
