About Operation Restoration:
Operation Restoration (OR) supports women and girls impacted by incarceration to recognize their full potential, restore their lives, and discover new possibilities. At OR, we focus on advocacy, education, economic mobility, and true economic equity for our staff, clients, and community. Our goal is to end the incarceration of women and girls. Incarceration is defined as confinement in prison, jail, immigrant, juvenile or military detention, or a deportation facility. Operation Restoration defines directly impacted women and girls as individuals who are currently or have previously been incarcerated, arrested, or are on probation and/or parole.
About the Position:
Under the direction of the Senior Advisor Special Projects, the Social Services Administration Specialist manages all social services provided by Operation Restoration and supervises staff, interns or volunteers working for Operation Social Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Department Head Duties
Provide written and oral updates to the senior management team on a regular basis.
Meet weekly with the executive team to report escalating issues or events that impact client services.
Supervise all Social Services programs, and identify opportunities to expand and improve all Social Services programs.
Case Management Oversight and Departmental Strategy
Develop effective integration strategies for clients, included but not limited to supervising the implementation of plans of care for OR clients.
Coordinate Social Services across programs to make sure all OR clients, students and program participants receive high quality case management services.
Improve and maintain processes and procedures to implement support groups for formerly incarcerated women focused on specific issues. This includes but is not limited to identifying opportunities for OR Social Services staff to obtain certifications.
Oversee the management of the Rapid Response Program.
Data Management, Compliance and Documentation
In collaboration with the Senior Advisor Quality Care Innovator, the Social Services Administration Specialist creates, implements and monitors control measurements for all Social Services programs.
Ensure all Social Services information and data is properly maintained in electronic and paper files by conducting audits on a routine basis.
Perform regular data quality audits to ensure departmental data accuracy.
Manage the Social Services annual budget by keeping track of expenditures and revenues
Manage the Social Services shared drive to ensure documentation is up to date and available to other team members.
Collaborate with key staff to ensure reporting and compliance metrics for the Employment and Training program are captured and submitted under the SNAP E&T Program.
Team Management
Manage and assign responsibilities to Social Services staff, interns, and volunteers.
Recruit, train and supervise staff members, interns and volunteers working for Operation Social Services.
Conduct weekly team meetings with all Social Services staff and report outcomes to direct supervisor.
Provide directly or identify Subject Matter Experts (SME) to conduct regular training for organization’s staff to improve their job performance and maintain a tracking system of all training provided and completed by staff.
Partnership Development and Management
Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies for referral purposes.
Grant Support
Support fund development staff with research and grant applications.
Additional Responsibilities
Represent Operation Restoration at fundraising and community events
Collaborate daily with Operation Restoration staff to ensure departmental effectiveness
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties related to Operation Social Services, as assigned
At times, this role requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to support our mission as a community-centered organization. The role also may include occasional travel.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
2-4 years of experience billing Medicaid and other federally funded programs.
3-5 years of experience in a non-profit setting that provides social services.
2-4 years of experience writing grants and securing funding.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Products, and use of CRMs or data management systems
Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays Operation Restoration and its programs
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Experience working with formerly incarcerated women preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $150,000
