ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performs various tasks including maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchens and dining rooms. Assists cook in preparation and serving of food.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of simple food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of first in-first out rotation method used in kitchens.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization methods
- Ability to put up stock and maintain dry and refrigerated storage areas.
- Ability to use various types of food prep. equipment
- Ability to wash and sterilize pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass level II background and drug screen.
- Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to write accurately and legibly
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach
- Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Capable of climbing a ladder or step stool and lifting light to moderately heavy objects.
- Good vision (corrected or uncorrected)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good hearing and vision
