JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Property Manager position reports directly to the Property Manager and is responsible for handling all aspects of leasing apartment units and assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations. Also responsible for assuring the Company’s standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of leasing units and documents in accordance with Company and Fair housing guidelines.
- Promote resident retention and execute lease renewals.
- Ability to qualify all prospective residents and complete the application process.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Inspect all pre-leased apartments prior to resident’s scheduled move-in date; coordinate all changes regarding resident move-outs.
- Market to prospective residents by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current residents, and touring available units.
- Stay informed about market trends, rental rates, and competitors.
- Monitor the status of vacant units; inspect all pre-leased apartments.
- Address resident concerns and maintenance requests promptly.
- Maintain lease documents and ensures leaseholders are in compliance.
- May be asked to assist at other communities as needed.
- Act as a primary contact for tenant inquiries, complaints, and issues.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
- Liaise with outside vendors (landscaping, security, trash) for services.
- Conduct property inspections and report issues to the Property Manager.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous leasing experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to comply with operational policies/procedures, codes, and regulations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
