Open Hand – Kitchen Tavern Social | Portage, WI
Open Hand is looking for an outgoing, dependable bartender who enjoys taking care of people and wants to help us build a welcoming neighborhood bar and restaurant.
We're looking for someone who can make a great drink, but personality, attitude, and hospitality matter just as much as experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide friendly, attentive service and get to know our regulars
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Handle POS transactions accurately
- Work alongside servers and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly
- Follow responsible alcohol-service practices
- Help create an atmosphere where guests actually want to stay and come back
What We're Looking For
- Positive, friendly, and supportive attitude
- Comfortable talking with and engaging guests
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Clean and organized
- Willing to help coworkers when needed
- Able to stay composed when things get busy
- Bartending experience preferred, but we'll consider the right person with strong hospitality experience
Pay: $14–$16/hour tips, based on experience
Primarily evening shifts. Friday and Saturday availability is important.
