In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining monitoring solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

About The Role
We are seeking a DevOps / SRE Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices, monitoring solutions, AWS cloud environments, and the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who ensures reliability, scalability, and performance across systems.
In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining monitoring solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog; own and continuously improve system health and performance metrics.
- Design, implement, and optimize automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.) to improve reliability and modernize legacy applications.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS) and support CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and third-party infrastructure partners to address escalations, ensure reliability, and improve system performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, automation, and QA.
Education and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or related role, including 3 years of application support experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Advanced expertise in monitoring and observability, particularly with Datadog.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.), with experience optimizing and modernizing backend systems.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Solid background in application performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
