General Duties and Responsibilities Required of a Therapist:
Complete assessments with clients within required time frames;
Provides individual, family and/or group psychotherapy to clients as described in the treatment plan;
Documents all therapeutic contacts in the client’s record;
Keeps client record current and submitted to the treatment coordinator for inclusion in the client’s record within one week of the session date;
An active treatment team member and participates fully in the treatment planning process;
Therapists providing treatment foster care services attend clinical rounds or team meetings as directed;
An independently-licensed therapist consults with the supervisor for a minimum of two times per month;
A non-independently licensed therapist receives supervision from the supervisor at a minimum of two times per month.
