Duties
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and food services
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest service and uphold hotel standards
- Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Coordinate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate team members
- Manage budgeting processes, control expenses, and ensure compliance with financial goals
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Implement effective front desk procedures including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to enhance guest interactions
- Foster a welcoming environment by promoting excellent guest relations and hospitality practices
- Support resort operations by ensuring smooth coordination across departments and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in hospitality or hotel management roles
- Strong background in hospitality management, including revenue management, guest services, and hotel operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee development
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures
- Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, night audit procedures, and phone etiquette
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Previous hotel or resort experience is preferred; strong hospitality background is essential
