Opal’s Heart, Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated student or emerging professional to revamp our existing Google Sites website and provide ongoing maintenance. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a real nonprofit project while building your resume and professional portfolio.
The intern will work with the President/CEO and Communications/Marketing Team to improve the website’s design, navigation, accessibility, and overall user experience. Our goal is to complete the initial revamp by December 31, 2026, followed by continued website updates and support throughout the internship.

- Revamp and improve the existing website.
- Evaluate Google Sites and recommend an alternative platform if appropriate.
- Prioritize free or no-cost solutions, as OHI does not have a budget for a paid platform or migration.
- Update content, troubleshoot issues, and maintain website functionality.
- Collaborate with the Communications/Marketing Team.
- Train the President/CEO on website management and provide a written maintenance guide and final handoff.
