Accounts Receivable

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team! As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing invoices for groups, social events, and weddings;
• Preparing documents for direct bill applications;
• Posting checks, credit card payments, and wire transactions;
• Generating invoices and account statements for commercial and marina tenants and homeowners on Sunset Key island and providing them in the timely manner;
• Generating all monthly parking invoices and statements. Setting up new customer accounts and applying payments on the monthly basis;
• Maintaining Accounts Receivable files and records;
• Maintaining aging for all of our properties with timely follow ups for collections;
• Preparing reports for the credit meetings;
• Preparing documentation for chargebacks;
• Processing all credit card refunds and reconciling them at the end of the day;
• Answering all guest phone calls and emails. Researching any billing discrepancies and inquiries and providing timely follow up with the guests/customers;
• Communicate articulately and efficiently with other departments, such as Sales and Catering, Reservations, Front desk, and more.
• Complete Month-End processes;
• Assist with any special projects assigned;
• Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting while complying with federal, state, and local financial requirements;
• Other duties may be assigned.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail
