What You’ll Do as an Accounts Payable Clerk
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Perform invoice processing and enter data into accounting software
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Assist with payment processing and ensure timely completion
- Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice and payment inquiries (vendor management)
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
