Technical Portfolio Communications Lead

We are seeking a Technology Communications Consultant who can bridge technology and business by translating complex technical initiatives into clear, executive-level communications.

In this role, you will work closely with architecture, engineering, product, PMO, and business leaders to communicate technology strategy, project progress, roadmaps, risks, and priorities through well-structured PowerPoint presentations and leadership updates.

This position requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology, SDLC, system dependencies, and portfolio management, but does not require hands-on solution architecture or software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive presentations for technology strategy, roadmap reviews, portfolio updates, and leadership meetings.
• Translate technical concepts into concise business communications.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, product, PMO, and business teams to gather project updates.
• Consolidate information across multiple initiatives into clear executive summaries.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Create roadmap visuals, dashboards, timelines, and presentation materials using PowerPoint.
• Support recurring leadership communications and portfolio reporting.
• Ensure communications are accurate, organized, and appropriate for both technical and business audiences.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience preparing executive presentations and leadership communications.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including executive storytelling and visual presentation design.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, SDLC, IT strategy, and technology delivery.
• Experience with project portfolios, roadmaps, milestones, and dependency tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Retail, eCommerce, apparel, omnichannel, or consumer products experience.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture, digital commerce, supply chain, customer platforms, or technology transformation programs.
• Experience with portfolio governance, KPI reporting, roadmap planning, and executive reporting.
• Background in consulting, technical program management, portfolio management, business architecture, or technology strategy.
