Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions for research and development (R&D) projects.
- Lead modernisation of legacy applications (PHP and similar technologies).
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple local sites to align architecture with business goals.
- Define and enforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
- Maintain architectural documentation and reusable patterns for future projects.
- Proven experience as an AWS Solution Architect (certification preferred).
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience modernising legacy applications (PHP highly desirable).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Frequent on-site presence expected; local candidates strongly preferred.
- Experience in R&D or automotive environments is a plus.

- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
