Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and data teams to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, prioritized, and translated into actionable solutions.
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, business metrics, reporting requirements, and success criteria.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights that support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business reporting.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Technology teams to support reporting, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain project documentation, requirements, and traceability using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder reviews, and requirements clarification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and data requirements.
- Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical/data teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid Agile environments.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools.
- Experience working alongside Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, or Analytics teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar modern data platforms.
- Proficiency in Python or other analytical programming languages.
- Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience identifying automation opportunities and supporting AI/ML-driven business solutions.
- Background in automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or enterprise transformation environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex business processes and operational challenges.
- Ability to balance business priorities with technical constraints and data considerations.
