- Role: Senior Business Data Analyst (Data Governance)
- Location: 1220 Bank St., Richmond, VA 23219 (Hybrid - 2 days per week)
- Duration: 12 Months Contract
- Interview Mode: Both Web Cam & In-Person Interview
📋 Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Data Analyst to advance enterprise data governance through the effective integration of people, processes, and technology. This role emphasizes governance by design, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and organizational adoption.
🔍 Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 Years of Experience in:
- Data Analysis & Requirements Elicitation
- Data Lineage / Cataloging
- Data Policy & Procedure Creation
- Proficiency with SQL & Data Warehouse Environments
- 7 Years of Experience in:
- Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.)
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and data management processes to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with data owners, stewards, and technical teams.
- Translate governance policies and business requirements into actionable workflows, SOPs, RACI matrices, and operational controls.
- Support data quality issue identification, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
