Authorizations Specialist (ABA Services)

Location: Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-site
Competitive Pay: $28–$35/hour

              Join a growing, mission-driven team at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services PLLC and play a key role in helping children access the services they need. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Authorizations Specialist who can take ownership of the insurance authorization process and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your work directly supports timely care for families.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage ABA service authorizations from submission through approval
• Communicate with insurance companies and payers to obtain and maintain approvals
• Keep families informed on authorization status and next steps
• Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation
• Partner with clinical and admin teams to ensure compliance and efficiency

What You Bring:

• Experience with insurance authorizations or healthcare administration (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
• BCBA certification or in progress is a plus (not required)
• Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and payers
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
