Job Type: Full-time 40 hours a week - Mon-Friday

COMPANY PROFILE – Maritime Delivery Services (MDS) is a subsidiary company of OOCL! MDS is an intermodal trucking company with 5 offices in the US and 1 in Canada. MDS has been in business since 2007 providing safe, reliable service with dedicated staff and business-oriented independent contractors.

Our Savannah, GA terminal is located close to the port with a paved, secure yard. We have both company trucks and owner operators to serve the local Savannah market as well as a 200-mile radius. Savannah is a fast-growing market, and we need a leader to help MDS grow with it.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure drivers and terminal staff operate safely and follow all regulations and MDS policy for safe driving.
• Monitor financial results and maintain profitable operations.
• Hire, retain, train staff.
• Effectively market MDS services to 3rd party customers.

Preferred Skills:

• Increasing responsibility in intermodal trucking
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong marketing and inside sales experience
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations
• Working knowledge of the local trucking market where terminal operates

Qualifications:

• Previous trucking experience
• strong communication skills with drivers and customers alike
• previously manage budgets and PL
