Sr. Account Manager, Domestic Logistics – Marketing & Sales (M&S department)

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive revenue growth for our domestic logistics services, including trucking, warehousing, and destination management (final mile). This role is ideal for a seasoned logistics professional with a proven track record of developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored supply chain solutions to customers across various industries.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Acquire customers via high-volume cold calling, email prospecting, social networking, referrals, etc.  Must be willing/able to travel.
  • Collaborate with our operations department to service customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your customers
  • Providing quotes and negotiating rates with customers
  • Communicating thoroughly and proactively throughout the shipment process
  • Selling domestic drayage, over the road trucking, dedicated/expedited, transloading, warehousing, and destination container management services. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and Freight Forwarding services.
  • 5 years’ industry experience/transferable skills.
  • Required Travel: Minimum 25%, or as needed to cover the sales territory.
  • Self-starter with a hunter mindset and ability to manage various sales cycles.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with ability to translate customer pain-points into tailored, value-driven solutions.

  • Exhibits strong oral and written skills, and extraordinary sales skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, be well organized and disciplined in time management.
  • Exemplary problem-solving techniques combined with innovative thinking.
  • Desire to learn with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
  • Self-motivated and success driven.
  • A team player with a positive, customer-centric focus.

All employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. 

The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 excluding fringe benefits. If hired at OOCL Logistics, the final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we also consider internal equity as part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. All full-time employees enjoy these outstanding benefits, while in a safe, friendly, clean, business casual office environment.
