The Department
Within our organization, the Inside Sales Department supports sales representatives who are located throughout the United States. As an inside sales analyst, we work closely with the outside sales representative and their customers. Responsibilities include managing contracts, quoting rates, and reserving allocation on vessels. We are a point of contact for customers when they have questions or issues relating to their contract, and we work closely with other departments internally to ensure that our customers are supported and have a quality experience while doing business with OOCL.
Sales Analyst Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to function in MS Office, especially Excel, Power Apps, and Outlook
- Written & Oral Communication Skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Planning, prioritizing, and multitasking
- CRM experience a plus
Sale Analyst Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with contract maintenance, renewals, space requests.
- Qualify, process, & troubleshoot requests for spot quotes, trade offered rates, and bids.
- Assist sales in maintaining customer record/profiles
- Apply problem solving skills as applicable
- Service Contract knowledge (rate & surcharge structure terms & conditions)
- Answer and qualify customer inquiries related to rates and service offerings.
- Direct customers to appropriate department as needed.
- Collaborate onboarding activities with outside sales.
