Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Door to Door Roofing Sales Associate to join our field sales team. This role combines direct, neighborhood outreach with consultative sales expertise. You’ll be responsible for inspecting roofs, educating homeowners about storm and hail damage, guiding them through the insurance claim process, and closing roofing contracts. High energy, resilience to rejection, and a passion for customer service are essential.!!! COMMISION BASED PAY!!!
Responsibilities
- Canvass neighborhoods door to door to generate leads, identify homes with potential storm damage, and offer free roof inspections
- Conduct onsite roof assessments, including climbing ladders, evaluating damage, and documenting findings
- Present roofing solutions to homeowners, demonstrate materials/options, discuss project timelines, and explain coverage of insurance deductibles
- Assist homeowners with insurance claims, liaise with adjusters, explain claim steps, and help complete necessary paperwork
- Negotiate and close sales, aiming to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets
- Maintain CRM records with lead activity, follow ups, and sales progress; report regularly to sales management
- Collaborate closely with roofing teams and claims specialists for a smooth project hand off and superior customer experience
Requirements & Skills
- Self motivated & resilient: thrive in high rejection environments and persist through no to get to yes
- Strong communication
- Commercial awareness: willingness to learn, effectively build rapport, present solutions, and clearly explain technical and claim information
- Basic math skills: calculate pricing, measurements, deductibles, and simple comparisons on the fly
- Physical capability: climb ladders, walk through neighborhoods, and work in varied weather
- Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle needed for neighborhood canvassing
