About the Role
As a PRN Respiratory Therapist with Onyx Care of Farmerville, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Farmerville, LA facility. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized respiratory care plans, utilizing your expertise to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as ordered by the physician
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Provide education and instruction to patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes
Requirements
Must be a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent certification
Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience in respiratory therapy
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed
