Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our team! As a Floor Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive a comfortable and safe environment, while also collaborating with our nursing staff to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Floor Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and carpets.
Floor Restoration: Strip, wax, seal, and polish hard surfaces (vinyl, tile, concrete, stone).
Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain heavy-duty cleaning equipment, including automatic scrubbers, floor buffers, burnishers, and wet/dry vacuums.
Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures, including handling chemicals properly, using wet floor signs, and removing hazardous debris.
Facility Care: Move furniture to clean, clean baseboards, and perform periodic deep-cleaning projects.
Compliance: Report needed repairs or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
