A leading defense and high-technology company is hiring a Technician 2 to support development engineering efforts. This temp role is based on-site and involves performing routine technical tasks related to electronics and electro-mechanical systems in a dynamic environment.

Technician 2 Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, modifying, and assembling electronic and electro-mechanical prototypes or test equipment under supervision.
• Follow schematics, diagrams, and written instructions to conduct testing, troubleshooting, and prototype assembly tasks.
• Perform operational tests and isolate faults to ensure systems meet design specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions to the component level for repair or further analysis.
• Collect data during engineering tests using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, VOM, DVM, and signal generators.

Technician 2 Qualifications:

• An associate degree in electronics, a short certificate in electronics with proof, or military electronics training with proof.
• Completion of safety and ESD training within one year of start date.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair various electronic devices using schematics and test equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience in soldering is a plus.
