We’re seeking a Sr. Desktop Support Specialist to support a leading organization’s technical teams. This temporary role involves troubleshooting desktop issues, managing hardware and software, and ensuring smooth user experiences in an organization-focused environment.

Sr. Desktop Support Specialist Responsibilities:
- Assist end-users by diagnosing and rectifying hardware, software, and network problems.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktop devices and peripherals.
- Handle support requests promptly, ensuring timely resolution within service standards.
- Perform software updates, patches, and installations on desktop systems.
- Keep detailed records of support activities, requests, and resolutions using ticketing systems.
Sr. Desktop Support Specialist Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of desktop operating systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and desktop management software.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices is a plus; relevant certifications are beneficial.
- 2-3 years of desktop support or technical support experience; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
