QA Test Lead (Performance Testing) Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive performance testing initiatives across multiple game projects, including planning, strategy development, and collaboration with external partners.
- Define key performance indicators and system architecture to monitor client and network performance metrics.
- Establish and manage device compatibility strategies, including profiling and benchmarking across iOS and Android devices.
- Troubleshoot and identify performance issues such as memory leaks and API inefficiencies impacting gameplay.
- Develop and execute network scalability and simulation tests, leveraging automation tools and integrating telemetry data.
QA Test Lead (Performance Testing) Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in performance testing, QA engineering, or software development with a focus on gaming.
- Proven leadership experience in QA or performance testing environments, with familiarity managing external vendor teams.
- Strong knowledge of mobile performance profiling tools and hardware constraints, including PerfDog, Android Studio Profiler, and Xcode Instruments.
- Deep understanding of network protocols such as UDP, TCP, TLS/SSL, and HTTP/3 (QUIC), and experience with network analysis utilities.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking services like AWS or Google Cloud, and knowledge of advanced network routing concepts.
