Production Artist Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical packaging files for review, ensuring consistency in type styles, sizes, and layout details across various formats and carton sizes.
• Set up artwork in design software, such as Illustrator, and submit to leadership for approval, verifying design accuracy and alignment.
• Upload approved PDFs to the designated review system, facilitating feedback from regulatory, marketing, and editorial teams.
• Collaborate with team members on layout revisions as necessary, maintaining adherence to branding and regulatory standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, incorporating last-minute changes while preserving design integrity and regulatory compliance.

Production Artist Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of print production techniques, including embossing, foil stamping, and silk-screening.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience creating artwork mechanicals with 4-point type.
• Knowledge of US and Canadian cosmetics industry labeling requirements, including OTC Drug Fact panels, is preferred but not mandatory.
