Construction Quality Manager [83958]

We're partnering with a company developing one of the largest mining and infrastructure projects currently underway in the U.S. to find a Construction Quality Manager. This role will lead quality efforts across the construction lifecycle, from the current access road, bridge, culvert, and earthwork phase through future processing facilities, structural steel, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.

This is a highly visible position that will serve as the primary quality representative with project leadership, contractors, and government stakeholders while building and leading the project's quality program.

Construction Quality Manager Responsibilities:

• Build and manage the project quality program from the ground up.
• Oversee quality activities across civil, structural, concrete, earthwork, fabrication, and construction operations.
• Lead contractor quality compliance, inspections, testing, NCR management, and corrective actions.
• Review construction documentation, specifications, inspection records, and turnover packages.
• Support welding inspections, equipment installation, and large industrial construction activities.
• Work closely with project leadership, engineers, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Drive a strong quality culture focused on safety, compliance, and successful project delivery.

Construction Quality Manager Qualifications:

• 10 years of construction quality experience on mining, heavy industrial, heavy civil, infrastructure, energy, or large capital projects.
• Experience supporting quality programs for civil, structural steel, concrete, earthwork, utilities, or industrial construction.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction documentation.
• Experience managing contractors, inspections, audits, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Welding inspection experience is highly desirable.
• Mining, processing plant, pressure vessel, or heavy industrial equipment installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote project environment and camp-style setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to represent quality efforts to contractors, project leadership, and regulatory agencies.
