Special Education Teacher

We're hiring a Special Education Teacher- Multi Intensive for the 2026/2027 school year with our client in Colorado. This is an on-site, contract opportunity supporting a middle school program, with a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week).

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 21, 2027
• Schedule: Full time 37.5 hours per week
• Grade Levels: Middle School
• School Year: 2026/2027

Responsibilities:

• Provide special education instruction for a middle school multi-intensive classroom setting.
• Support a classroom of approximately 10 students with a structured, student-centered approach.
• Collaborate daily with paraeducators and peer mentors to support learning and engagement.
• Partner with related services and support teams (BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, Psych/SW) to support student needs.
• Contribute as a flexible, team-oriented educator within the school-based program.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience.
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or actively in process of obtaining one.
• Ability to provide proof of CDE license or COOL documentation along with resume submission.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with paraeducators and multidisciplinary school teams.
• Flexibility and strong teamwork skills to support a dynamic classroom environment.
