We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) in the Elbert County, CO area to support students with speech, language, and communication needs.
The SLP or SLP-CF will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services, working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that individualized goals are met.
Position Details:
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time, flexible scheduling with the opportunity to complete some work at home
- Assignment Dates: 2026-2027 School Year
- Compensation: $48-65 per hour depending on licensure
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with IDEA requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
- Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
- (temporary or provisional license for Clinical Fellows)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
