Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to assist students facing personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or family issues.
• Support students with developing coping strategies and emotional resilience.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations like bullying, abuse, or self-harm incidents, offering immediate support and connecting students to resources.
• Collaborate with families to address concerns impacting student well-being and academic success, providing referrals as needed.
• Advocate for students' access to necessary resources and help remove barriers to learning related to absenteeism, poverty, or family circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Valid state school social work license or certification.
• Prior experience working with students in a school setting.
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and external resources.
• Knowledge of social-emotional development, mental health promotion, and prevention programs.
