Position SummaryThe Clinical Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring seamless coordination between providers, nursing staff, and patients. This position focuses on scheduling, care coordination, documentation, and operational support to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily clinical workflows to ensure efficient patient flow
- Serve as a liaison between providers, nurses, administrative staff, and patients
- Assist with scheduling appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
- Support patient care coordination, including pre-visit preparation and post-visit follow-up
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with inventory tracking, supplies, and clinical resources as needed
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff when applicable
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in a clinical, healthcare coordination, or medical office role
- Experience in fertility, OB/GYN, or specialty care strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
