Job Purpose
The Sales Analyst plays a strategic role within the North America sales organization by supporting key retail customers through actionable insights, forecasting, and commercial performance analysis.
This role is specifically intended for professionals with hands-on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience who understand how retailers operate and how day-to-day sales, supply chain, and category dynamics impact customer performance. The ideal candidate has worked directly with Sales or Key Account teams and is comfortable using retailer portals, syndicated data, and customer reporting tools to drive business results.
This is not a pure IT or technical analytics role. Success in this position requires strong retail business acumen and the ability to translate data into practical, customer-focused decisions for accounts such as Walmart and other national retailers.

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks Sales & Retail Performance Support
- Partner directly with Sales and Key Account teams to support major retail customers, including Walmart and other national accounts
- Analyze retailer and syndicated data to identify sales trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Support line reviews, customer meetings, and joint business planning with actionable insights
- Collaborate with brokers and customer teams to interpret performance and recommend next steps
- Develop customer-level forecasts and budgets aligned to retailer expectations and promotional calendars
- Monitor performance vs. plan and proactively recommend adjustments
- Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure customer demand plans are operationally achievable
- Utilize retailer portals (e.g., Scintilla, 10-10, Retail Link) and syndicated tools to evaluate customer performance
- Conduct pricing, promotional, and assortment analysis within a retail environment
- Deliver insights that support category strategy and customer growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience working within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization
- Direct experience supporting retail customers or national accounts (Walmart experience strongly preferred)
- Experience working with retailer portals and syndicated data platforms (Scintilla, 10-10, Retail Link, Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
- Experience partnering with Sales or Account teams to support customer performance and planning
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret business data
- Experience participating in category reviews or customer business planning
- Experience collaborating with brokers and cross-functional commercial teams
