A Day in the Life
This is predominately a field-based role.
The hourly range for this role is $18 - $20/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.
To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring activities for oil and gas field operations
- Compile and complete field notes on each event/site
- Participate and be engaged in the safety culture
- Provide report preparation support to project teams
- Assist full-time staff members on a variety of other safety management and environmental monitoring projects, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Maintains confidentiality at all times

- Must have reliable transportation to sites in southwestern PA and northern WV (will be reimbursed for mileage).
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Self-Starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental science, engineering, geology, or related science discipline
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Ability to perform in-field physical activities
