This educator will design and deliver engaging lesson plans while creatively integrating biblical truth into a rigorous, standards-based math curriculum. Through both instruction and mentorship, the teacher will guide students in their academic growth while supporting their spiritual development. The position primarily involves teaching 7th Grade English, with the possibility of additional courses based on the candidate’s background and experience.
Requirements / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will preferably have five years of classroom teaching experience in the applicable subject area and a passion for collaborating with colleagues in a Christ-centered environment. Experience in a Christian school setting is preferred. As a member of the Ontario Christian faculty, this individual is expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to service. As a distinctly Christian school, Ontario Christian maintains high spiritual and lifestyle expectations of its employees, all of which are essential to fulfilling our mission and modeling Christ-centered leadership for students. The Teacher will plan, organize and implement a biblically based, faith-integrated curriculum that guides, mentors and develops students both spiritually and academically. Experience 0-2 years of classroom teaching experience, teaching in an applicable grade or subject preferred. Prior experience working in a Christian school environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in a teaching related field. Current teaching credential or working towards a credential in the appropriate subject area. Related education in the Christian faith.
