Essential Functions
- Coordinate Rubber Goods RG storeroom activities to ensure all phases of the RG program effectively administered
- Periodically perform inventory audits
- Must have valid Texas drivers license
- Ensure proper functioning of the RG testing program
- Perform RG inventory analysis
- Monitor monthly RG inventory
- Forecast RG requirements
- Order RG to maintain proper inventory levels
- Schedule RG change outs to meet OSHA requirements
- Schedule Emergency Change Outs
- Coordination of pick-ups & deliveries
- Monitor and maintain technology systems (Maximo, Velocity and RGV)
- Prepare yearly failure reports for visual or electrical failures
- Monitor active and expired RG
- Update RG Requirements Procedure document to ensure proper operation of the RG program
- Prepare invoice distribution for specific vendors
- Coordinate with RG supplier in all matters, including price adjustments, delivery schedules, lead times, etc.
- Coordinate company luncheons and events
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for work group
- Assist in hurricane restoration efforts relating to RG
- Perform basic administrative duties such as answering phones, faxing, copying, filing, mailing, archiving, relating to RG
- Must become proficient in: Microsoft Office, FIM, Maximo, Velocity RGV and any other required systems
- Understand all Policies and Procedures pertaining to RG including date restrictions
- Must understand the importance of the RG program and the requirement to maintain the Safety Standards as required by OSHA
- Provide support in the area of financial reporting as requested by districts
- Maintain records of Tester NAIL Certifications
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Technical college and/or college experience preferred
- At least 3-5 years administrative assistant experience
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm
- Telephone management skills; excellent telephone etiquette
- Must have experience with complex scheduling and calendar management
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to navigate the Internet
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to think and communicate clearly and in context
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them in a timely manner
Pay Range
$19/hr - $25/hr Plus Benefits
