The Role
As we open our first permanent office in The Villages, we’re seeking Medical Assistants (Full-Time and Part-Time) who are passionate about patient care and eager to grow in an innovative practice. This isn’t your typical MA role — you’ll be an integral part of a mission-driven team that blends advanced dermatologic care with genuine compassion.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
Scribe for providers and accurately update electronic medical records (EMA / Modernizing Medicine)
Assist during Mohs surgeries, excisions, and minor dermatologic procedures
Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory submission
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate ongoing patient care
Support providers during additional testing and treatments
Ensure each patient feels informed, comfortable, and cared for
Assist with occasional non-clinical duties to support overall team operations
Qualifications
Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (Dermatology or Surgical background preferred)
Familiarity with Mohs surgery a strong plus
Experience using EMA / Modernizing Medicine highly preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated with excellent communication skills
