- What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
- Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
- Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
- Support providers during additional testing and procedures
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
- Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations
- Certified/experienced Medical Assistant (Surgical or Dermatology background preferred)
- Knowledge of Mohs procedures a plus
- Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
