What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager of Critical Care position at ONSLOW MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
Under guidance from the Director of Inpatient Acute Care Services or designee, the Nurse Manager organizes and directs the work of ICU/IMCU nursing departments. Ensures delivery of safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care while maintaining quality standards. Promotes an environment that supports staff engagement, accountability, interdisciplinary collaboration, provider engagement, and optimal patient outcomes.
Education/Certification:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN license
BLS upon hire. NCI and NIH Certifications within 90 days and recertification every year. ACLS and PALS within 6 months
Experience:
3-5 years of clinical experience in relevant nursing units with past management experience preferred
Education/Certification:
